Business Development Representative

About Blend

Blend is a B2B Inbound marketing agency and HubSpot partner, specialising in the technology space and based in Reading. Our clients come from the UK, North America and mainland Europe, and we are looking to expand our customer-base and service offering globally.

About the role

You will work to identify and engage good fit leads for the agency to service. Using a combination of inbound leads and high-volume, strategic prospecting, you will develop a pipeline of qualified, interested leads and work with the Directors to convert them into opportunities and customers.

You will be measured on the number of activities completed, the number of companies engaged, the number of meetings set for Directors, and the revenue generated.

You will join an outstanding team of marketing professionals that are passionate about delivering work of the highest quality.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high volume prospecting to generate new leads within our target marketing (defined by ideal customer profile and buyer personas)
  • Leverage inbound leads to generate qualified interest, again within the target market
  • Consistently meet activity goals
  • Utilise CRM effectively and inline with company requirements to document and track activity and prospects
  • Work with the (sales) director to develop prospects into opportunities and revenue
  • Work with HubSpot to iterate and evolve prospecting and sales strategies
  • Conduct regular connect calls and discovery calls with prospects
  • Use provided sales automation and productivity tools to optimise effort and output
  • Understand Blend’s operational model and its unique selling points inside out and be able to differentiate us from our competitors in the eyes of prospects.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales or prospecting roles
  • Curious about and confident talking on technical topics
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • High levels of energy, passion, humour, compassion and enthusiasm
  • Calm under pressure, able to listen to and address objections
  • A curious and challenging mindset, committed to doing quality work
  • Constant learner

Desirable skills and experience

  • Experience in the tech or SaaS sectors

  • Understanding of and passion for inbound and/or content marketing

  • Experience using a CRM

What’s in it for you?

Salary of £25,000 - £40,000 based on experience and performance.
