BigPxl is a growth marketing agency that came to Blend for a complete website overhaul. Their existing site, built in 2019, no longer reflected where they wanted to position themselves in the market. They were ready to start fresh with something that would make them stand out from other agencies.
The brief was refreshingly bold: sleek, different, and unapologetically premium. BigPxl wanted dark backgrounds throughout (believing it creates a more high-end feel with better colour accessibility), bold accents deployed strategically rather than in large blocks, and a design language that feels like "keynote speaker at a conference but meet you at the bar afterwards."
With their service offering shifting away from traditional client work imagery, we developed a pattern and typography-led design system. The visual approach relies on strong typographic hierarchy and carefully placed neon colour elements rather than photo-heavy layouts. Everything sits on black backgrounds (never navy), creating the sophisticated, distinctive presence they were looking for.
We delivered custom templates and full copy for ten pages, built on HubSpot. The result is a website that positions BigPxl exactly where they want to be - visually distinct from typical agency sites, premium without being stuffy, and built to flex as their content strategy evolves.
